The Pacers have played hard this year and put a lot of effort into their game. If they lose this year, there's always next year.

In the 2011-12 season, he was unbelievable. On January 19,2012 Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder agreed to a 5 year,80 million dollar extension. In fact the whole entire team played so well, that  this hard work got them to the NBA Finals agnaist the Miami Heat. Stephen Curry

This is Stephen Curry taking Mario Chalmers to the basket this year versus the Miami Heat.

Stephen Curry is the point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He was born and grew up in the Akron, Ohio(this is the same city that LeBron James was born in)  He grew up playing and loving the game which then lead to a scholarship and the Division One school Davidson.  He played there from 2006-2009.  He lead the nation in scoring in 2008-2009 at Davidson scoring 28.6 Points per game.  This  then lead him to the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA entry draft.  After the draft Stephen was subsequently signed to a four year 12.7 million dollar rookie entry contract. That season he finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind Sacramento Kings star Tyreke Evans.

In the 2010-2011 season Stephen started 74 of the 82 Warriors regular season games and had 18.6 points per game as well as 5.8 assist and 1.5 steals. He also set the Warriors single season free throw percentage at 93.4 percent.  In May of 2011 he had ankle surgery to repair a torn ligament. This happened while he was preparing for his first season under head coach Mark Jackson. The Warriors in the 2011-2012 abbreviated season went a disappointing 23-43 and missed the playoffs they finished 9th in the Western conference.

The current 2012-2013 season Stephen Curry had a career year averaging 22.9 points per game and  6.9 rebounds per game as well as 1.7 steals per game. Curry lead the Warriors to a sixth seed in the Western conference with a 47-35 record. They then played the Denver Nuggets and won the series. In game two Stephen had  30 points and 13 assists leading them later to a second round birth against the San Antonio Spurs.   The Warriors lost in six games but Stephen had a career year and he said he will continue to push to get the Warriors back in the playoffs.

We love Stephen Curry so we hope you enjoy this video.

My Favourite NBA Team

Hello and welcome to my blog about the National Basketball Association. This time I will be talking about my favorite NBA team. You guys might be fans of teams such as the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, or even the Los Angeles Lakers. There's many more teams but I'm not going to name them all. You might be still wondering, so Hashim what is your favourite team anyways? It's of course the Miami Heat. Why? Not because their stacked with pros but because I was a big fan of them in general. They are a very strong team on both sides of the court. Defensive and Offensive. So far they have won one NBA Championship with LeBron James. They are of course looking for their 2nd this year with LeBron again.

This is LeBron James celebrating his first NBA Title last year in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.
I am also hoping and expecting another Miami Heat win this year(2013).

Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat~Playoffs 2013

This is the Eastern Conference Finals between two very strong teams. The reigning Champions the Miami Heat and the great Defensive team the Indiana Pacers. Both of these teams have their own, very good players to watch. For the Miami Heat, they've got stars like Small Forward LeBron James,Point Forward Chris Bosh, Shooting Guard Dwayne Wade, or even Center or Forward Chris Anderson(Birdman). The Indiana Pacers aren't any less. They've got players such as Center Roy Hibbert, Forward or Guard Paul George and Forward David West. If LeBron James wins the NBA Championship this year,it will be his second title and Dwayne Wade's 3rd. Remember Dwayne Wade did not just win a title with LeBron, but also with Shaq.

Indiana Pacers Team Logo       #55;Roy Hibbert, #21;David West, #24;Paul George and the rest of the team.
Lets start off with Game 1 of these series. As we all hopefully know that the Indiana Pacers are playing way better than they played in the regular season and are especially good in the Defensive area. Don't go wrong with me that this Pacers team can score very well also. Back to where we were. Lebron had a very great game 1 with 30 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. Indiana Pacers Paul George also had a fantastic game scoring 27 points. While David West scored 26 points and Big Man Roy Hibbert scored 19. This game was honestly a very close one. In the 4th quarter the Pacers had the 102-101 with a few seconds left. But LeBron James wasn't done yet. He got the ball and ran for the left hand side, and putted up the left handed layup and won the buzzer beating game with no time left. So, Miami won Game 1 but were the Pacers going down that easily? Of course, not.
So what are we waiting for? Let's get to Game 2. Center Roy Hibbert had a huge game scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. This time though the Pacers wanted this win more than the Heat. Paul George scored 22 points and 6 assists. LeBron James and the Miami Heat tried very hard to win with LeBron scoring 36 points, 3 assists, and 8 rebounds. But in the end the Pacers holded on for the win. 97-93.
Game 3 began and the Miami Heat were pumped up and excited for this one. They weren't going to lose this game. Miami Heat's LeBron James scored 22 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. Also add Dwayne Wade's 18 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds. The Pacers played really well to. With David West scoring 21 points. And Paul George's 20 points. The Pacers played very hard and put effort into their game but ended up on the losing side. 114-96.
Game 4 was a tightly contested match-up. The Pacers were down 2-1 in the series and knew they need a win tonight to tie up the series. The Heat also wanted a win. LeBron James scored 24 points for the Miami Heat before he got fouled out with 0.56 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter. Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers had a double-double, with 23 points and 12 rebounds. But in the end the Pacers came with the win due to the great defense on Miami's star players.
On May 30,2013, Game 5 of the series toke place. And man this was another great game by Miami star LeBron James. LeBron James made this comeback in the second-half. LeBron James scored 30 points,8 rebounds,6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Paul George of the Indiana Pacers played really strong too, scoring 27 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal. That hard work though was not enough to get the Pacers the win. And LeBron James and the Miami Heat won the game 90-79 to take the series to a 3-2 lead. Now the Heat are one win away to make their 3rd straight appearance in the NBA Finals.
The Miami Heat were back in Indiana and looked to close out the series in 6 games. LeBron James had a huge game scoring 29 points. A lot of those points came off foul free throw shots. But were the Pacers going to lose the series that easily? I don't think so. Paul George led the Pacers in scoring with 28 points. Roy Hibbert also had a huge game with 24 points and 11 rebounds. George Hill started sinking 3's in the second half. He ended up with 16 points. Chris Anderson of the Miami Heat was suspended for Game 6 so he did not play. But in the end the victory went to the Indiana Pacers who won 91-77. Game 7 is on June 3rd.2013. That ill be the last game of the series in which whatever team wins they go to the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.
Game 7 began. You win or go home. You win and proceed to the NBA Finals or go home and get days to think about what went wrong or what had to be done to win. LeBron James scored 32 points,8 rebounds, and 4 assists and the Miami Heat powered their way back to the NBA Finals with a 99-76 victory over the Indiana Pacers to close out the series 4-3 and win game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Dwayne Wade ended his struggles with 21 points for the Heat, who will host the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night to begin their third straight finals appearance.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies~Playoffs 2013

First off, we will of course start with the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies. This game was a fast paced one as the Spurs knocked out the Grizzlies in 4 games. Lets start with Game 1. Tony Parker had a huge game 1. Not just that he's played really well in allmost all of the Spurs games so far. The San Antonio Spurs easily won Game 1 thanks to Tony Parker's 20 points and 9 assists.
Game 2 was a overtime showdown. This time Tim Duncan scored 17 points, including 7 in overtime while the Grizzlies only managed to score 4 and the Spurs won a shaky 93-89 victory over Memphis. Don't forget about Tony Parker's career-high performance of 18 assists and also add his 15 points to that scoreboard. We will get to Game 3 and 4 but first if you don't know who Tim Duncan, Tony Parker or any of these players are because you don't watch basketball. Then here are pictures of players you just have to watch on the San Antonio Spurs. Especially in the NBA Finals 2013.

#9;Tony Parker                #20;Manu Ginobili                 #20;Tim Duncan

Back to where we were about the Spurs and the Grizzlies. Game 3 was another overtime game. This time Tim Duncan and Tony Parker teamed up for a combined 50 points as the Spurs won in overtime 104-93.
And last but not least, Game 4. This was Tony Parker's best post-season game of his career of this year with 37 points and the Spurs finished off a sweep Monday night of the Memphis Grizzlies with a 93-86 win for their fifth Western Conference title and their 4-0 series close out agnaist Memphis.
Now they're back anyway with a chance they've wanted so very much the past six years. This Spurs team are a very old team and very experienced also. They won't go down in the NBA Finals without a fight. Remember this is Tim Duncan's fifth appearance in the Finals and Tony Parker's headed to his fourth.
